Host a Tournament at Umpqua Collectibles Expo

Looking to run a Magic, Pokémon, Lorcana, or other TCG event at the show?

What Is It?

Umpqua Collectibles Expo will host hundreds of attendees across competitive events, casual play zones, and vendor booths. We’re partnering with local game stores, event organizers, and community leaders to host tournaments during the show.

Whether you want to run a single elimination event, a casual gathering, or a structured, sanctioned tournament — we’d love to hear your pitch.

How It Works

We’ll reserve play space and add your tournament(s) to the official event schedule and floorplan.

Unless otherwise arranged in advance, Umpqua Collectibles will not provide staff, judges, prizing, or registration management for your tournament. Each organizer is responsible for:

  • Managing player signups and registration

  • Running the tournament (including timing and rulings)

  • Supplying prizing and/or promotional items

  • Providing any required tournament staff or judges

  • Cleaning up their assigned space after the event

If you're looking to partner on prizing, coverage, or prize wall materials, we’re open to select proposals — please note that in your request.

Event Space & Timing

All tournaments will take place in the designated play area inside the Douglas County Fairgrounds Conference Hall. Each Tournament Organizer will be assigned space based on their estimated table needs, format, and expected turnout.

Key times for scheduling your event:

  • Vendor/TO Setup: 8:00 AM

  • VIP Entry: 9:00 AM

  • Competitor Badge Entry (Premier Events): 9:30 AM

  • General Admission Opens: 10:00 AM

  • Event Ends / Hall Closes: 10:00 PM

  • Vendor/TO Breakdown Window: Begins at 8:00 PM

Tournaments may begin as early as 10:00 AM, with check-in or player prep beginning around 9:30 AM for players with Competitor Badges (included with premier tournament entry).

If your event has specific timing needs (e.g., multiple rounds, finals), let us know in your application. We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone while maintaining flow across the tournament area.

We are currently seeking tournament organizers for:

  • Magic: The Gathering

  • Disney Lorcana

  • Pokémon TCG

  • Yu-Gi-Oh

  • Flesh and Blood

  • Other games on request

Both competitive and casual events are welcome!

Tournament Organizer Pricing

We offer two options for reserving tournament space:

Option A: Flat Table Rate
$20 per 8-foot table for the day (seats 4 players).
Ideal for organizers who want to handle their own entry fees and prizing.

Option B: Revenue Share
20% of total entry fees collected during your event(s).
Great for community-focused or flexible-format events with unknown turnout.

Let us know your preference in the TO Request Form. All TOs must submit estimated space needs and anticipated attendance. Space is limited, and TOs are approved on a rolling basis.
